How did I get here and why am I here? I previously had set up a different site with Bluehost, but through some mishap that domain and site got lost. Fortunately I did not have too much content on there yet. I did some reading on some reviews of Bluehost (this one and this one do not recommend it, this one recommends it but the comments show both opinions), and I decided to leave them for good.
So, here I am, with a new host, SiteGround (my personal referral link*), and things have been a much smoother in terms of getting the domain, setting up the site, and being able to access files without using cPanel. I have been much happier with the setup process with SiteGround and I’ll continue to use them for now.
I have also decide to expand more on what this site would be about. My previous blog focused only on my methods to deal with my depression. Instead of limiting what subjects would be discussed, I wanted to be able to share more about myself and my life, what methods I have been using to deal with my depression, and what happens to me on a regular basis. Life is too complex and fluid for me to apply another filter to my life.
So that is how I got here, and as to the name, Ikigai for Tamina, that is for my subsequent post to explain. Stay tuned!
So welcome, thanks for stopping by my fledgling site, and please enjoy. Constructive comments and feedback is always appreciated.
*Disclosure: If you sign up to SiteGround using my referral link, I could earn up to 2 months free hosting! I will not receive any cash equivalent rewards. You can sign up and do the same thing!
